5-Day Itinerary
A carefully designed journey through Morocco's mountains, valleys, kasbahs and Sahara desert.
Marrakech → Ait Ben Haddou → Dades Valley
We leave Marrakech in the morning and cross the spectacular High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi n'Tichka pass.
Continue towards the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After visiting the kasbah, continue through Ouarzazate and the Skoura Palm Grove towards the Valley of Roses and Dades.
Dades → Todra Gorges → Erfoud → Merzouga
After breakfast, continue towards the spectacular Todra Gorges, where impressive limestone cliffs create one of the most beautiful landscapes in southern Morocco.
Continue through traditional villages and desert landscapes towards Erfoud before reaching Merzouga and the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes.
In the evening, enjoy a camel experience and reach your desert camp to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the Sahara.
Merzouga Desert Discovery
Wake up early to enjoy the spectacular sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes before returning for breakfast.
Today is dedicated to discovering the Merzouga desert region. Visit the traditional village of Khamlia, known for its Gnawa music and cultural heritage.
Continue towards the surrounding desert landscapes and visit a nomadic area to discover another side of life in the Sahara.
Depending on your interests, you can also visit Rissani and its traditional market before returning to Merzouga.
Enjoy a relaxed evening and another unforgettable sunset over the golden dunes.
Merzouga → Draa Valley → Ouarzazate
After breakfast, leave Merzouga and travel west through the spectacular landscapes of southern Morocco.
Continue towards the Draa Valley, famous for its palm groves, traditional villages and ancient kasbahs.
The road continues through the Anti-Atlas landscapes towards Agdez and Ouarzazate, where you will spend the night.
Ouarzazate → High Atlas → Marrakech
After breakfast, begin the final stage of the journey back to Marrakech.
Cross the High Atlas Mountains once again and enjoy the spectacular mountain scenery along the way.
Depending on your departure time and preferences, there may be opportunities for additional stops and viewpoints before arriving in Marrakech in the afternoon or evening.
